United Nations General Assembly or UNGA will organize its 78th edition of the UN General Assembly from 12 September 2023 onwards. The United Nations General Assembly is one of the six principal of the United Nations. UN General Assembly provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the complete spectrum of international issues that are covered by the Charter of the United States. The 193 member states of the United Nations participating in the UNGA have an equal vote. The UN General Assembly meets every year in regular sessions from September to December. The UNGA also makes important decisions for the UN including, electing non-permanent members of the Security Council, approving the UN budget, and appointing the Secretary-General on the recommendation of the Security Council. UNGA serves as the main policymaking and representative organ of the United Nations.
